I recently spent 4 days hunting in Dallas, PA and I must say that I'm impressed by the performance of my Medalist gear. The underwear wicking/layering garments kept me dry and warm and performed amazingly as I had long walks to my stand each morning and evening. The fleece jacket and pants held up to rain, wind and cold temps and I was comfortable enough to remain on stand regardless of the weather.
Honestly, I was blown away by the scent control aspect as I had deer downwind and around me each day. No deer ever gave a hint of winding me and that was unbelievable!!
I already have plans to add to my gear arsenal for next season. Thanks for fantastic customer service and an awesome product.

I don't give endorsements lightly. For a period of more than a year, I have both tested and used Medalist products in various courses and activities.
From spending time at 27 below zero while predator hunting, being subjected to 15-20 mph winds at 10 degrees while horseback hunting for mule deer, hiking up mountains after elk, hunting antelope in higher temperatures in Wyoming, testing under law enforcement, call out conditions in bitter cold, cross country skiing at 9,500 feet and a range of other activities, Medalist clothing met the challenges and performed better than a myriad of other clothing we have tested over the years. From the Anchorage jacket to the Cheyenne Shirt and pants, all items fit into their performance niches and did all that I asked of them and more.

Dear Medalist,
Probably not what you intended when you designed your products with Silvermax, but the following really put it to the test. Like a few hundred thousand other Kentuckians, I lost my electricity due to a massive ice storm in late January. I was without power for nine days; spending five of those at my mother's house keeping her kerosene heater running. The entire time I wore my Silvermax long underwear top and a pair of Silvermax boxers. Seven days without a shower, my friends, and not a bit of stink in these garments. Amazing.

Dear Medalist,
Just wanted to tell you what a great
product you have. I started using the Cheyenne and
Anchorage gear
early last fall. Later in November I used the Stalker
gear.
I like all of them for many reasons but they are by far the most comfortable hunting clothes I have ever worn, period! They also do not catch all the different types of stickers we have in the west.
I hunted in several states last year and they were
great. I cannot see myself changing now. No matter what you
are
buying, all GREAT products are an investment and I
think Medalist Gear is money well
spent!!!!
Sincerely,
Darrell

Dear Medalist,
My name is Scott Hayton, I am one of the guides for Slate River Guide Service, and I would like to share with you an unbelievable story.
During the 2006 bow hunting season I had a few pictures of this buck on the trail cameras and had scouted him very well. It seemed as if every time I would get in a position to have an encounter with him he would somehow be alerted to something being in the area. It was my belief that he was somehow detecting me by scent. That season I went out and purchased the highly advertised scent locking clothing thinking that this would allow me to get a shot at this buck of a lifetime. However, the results of my pursuits of him remained the same. He would get just barely within sight, alert, blow and bolt away. Unfortunately, I did not get a shot at him then or for the remainder of the hunting season.
I had no idea this buck would make it through the 2006 hunting season. But, to my surprise he showed up again on the trail cameras in mid 2007 and was, as expected, larger than the previous year. This was a testament to how sharp this buck had actually become. I began to scout the area again in anticipation of hunting him in the upcoming bow season. Again, believing scent was a factor, I went out and this time purchased the scent eliminating soap, shampoo and sprays hoping this would make the difference.
I began pursuing this buck at the beginning of October and had three encounters with him during the first three weeks with the same results as the previous year. Again, I believe that scent was the culprit. My friend convinced me to try the Medalist SILVERMAX Stalker jacket and pant. On October 31, 2007 I was running late to get in the woods and did not take the time to use all the scent eliminating products that I had purchased. I put on the Medalist SILVERMAX, sprayed down my boots and was off to climb a tree. I had picked the right spot. The buck came within sight and stopped, I’m thinking here we go again, but this time after putting his head up to wind he cautiously continued up the path he was on. With a well placed shot from my bow, I finally got this buck.
I am totally convinced that it was not luck that led me to this buck of a lifetime. It was the Medalist SILVERMAX that gave me the advantage. I firmly believe that if I had previously been using your product that the results of that day would have come a lot sooner.
Needless to say all the other hunting clothing in my closet is now used for purposes other than hunting. I will not go out on a hunt without having Medalist SILVERMAX now. I would like to thank you for your product, my chance to try it and thank you for my buck of a lifetime.

Dear Medalist,
I would like to thank you for giving us the opportunity to test Medalist SILVERMAX. We have found your line of SILVERMAX products to be the best hunting clothing that any of us have ever worn. These products were in use daily from the beginning of our bow season (first of October-early November), muzzleloader season (early November), through the general firearms season (mid November-early January) and into the rabbit hunting season (early January-in progress until the end of February). These products performed beyond our expectations regardless of the weather and are still in excellent condition. I can personally say that I have never been so warm and comfortable with so little clothing on in all my years of hunting. More importantly, my father, who in recent years has found it difficult to stay warm and unable to enjoy hunting because of it, can now enjoy the hunting experience the way he had in the past. All thanks to the warmth and comfort that your product provided him, for that I am truly thankful. This is a truly amazing product line. The only problem that it has created for us is that none of us want to wear anything but Medalist SILVERMAX. So we will all be cleaning out our closets and I will be purchasing the SILVERMAX products for all of our guides.
The final test we thought of putting it through was the smallmouth bass fishing season on the James River (mid January-first April). We had found it difficult to remain warm while running the jet boat on the river and yet be comfortable enough to fish once we stopped. So we decided to try your Stalker fleece jacket and pant on our first trip of the season. As we expected, it was the perfect choice and worked great.
Again, I cannot thank you enough for the enjoyment that my father now experiences as a result of being warm and comfortable wearing your products. You could have no better spokesman than this well respected hunter and outdoorsman. Believe me, he sings praises of your products to every hunter that he encounters and he has never met a stranger.
